Qinghai–Tibet railway

The Qinghai-Tibet Railway connects China's Qinghai Province and Tibet with a total length of 1,956km. China officially operated this highest railway line in the world on July 1, 2006, connecting Xining city with Lhasa region. This railway to Tibet is a construction of complex technology, with special tracks capable of maintaining stability in extreme weather conditions. Golmud City in Qinghai Province is the first station of this railway and the Tibetan capital Lhasa is the terminus. The carriages are designed like an airplane cabin to protect passengers from extreme heights, with the building's highest point above sea level reaching 5,072 meters. Inside the train's cabin, there is an automatic air-conditioning system to balance the air in the oxygen-deficient places that the train runs through.



Rocky Mountaineer railway

The Rocky Mountaineer is a train line in western Canada that runs from Calgary to Vancouver. If you are experienced on this train, you will be amazed the entire splendid landscape of the mountains from Alberta to British Columbia, all captured in sight, untouched as a masterpiece of nature. Darjeeling Himalayan railway

The Darjeeling Himalaya is a railway connecting New Jalpaiguri with Darjeeling in the state of West Bengal (India). This railway is 88km long, built in 1879, traveling over an area from 100m above sea level at New Jalpaiguri to 2,200m at Darjeeling.
